Orchard Park, N.Y. For the first time in almost 10 years, the Buffalo Bills are starting a season without the services of running back Fred Jackson.

Jackson was cut in August and signed with the Seattle Seahawks, just his second NFL team. Still, Bills safety Aaron Williams made sure a part of Jackson was at Ralph Wilson Stadium when the Bills took on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Williams, who was as close with Jackson as anyone on the team, drove Jackson"s green Chevrolet with a "HUULLK" license plate to the stadium Sunday.

This is the second gesture of respect Williams has shown Jackson. On the day the Bills cut Jackson, Williams wore the running back"s No. 22 jersey at practice.

The Bills are expecting to end their 15-year playoff drought, and some still feel a bit strange about Jackson not being a part of it considering he never made the playoffs as a member of the Bills.
