Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 zombie mode has Jeff Goldblum and Ron Perlman

Treyarch revealed some interesting things about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 at a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, and IGN was there to hear it first-hand. Its no surprise that Black Ops 3 will have a Zombies mode. Its cast, however, is very surprising.

The Zombies mode will feature performances from Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman, Robert Picardo, Neal McDonough, and Heather Graham.

Thats a pretty impressive roster from a nerd reference perspective, starting with Jeff Golblum. Hes the man whose ums and ers have garnered oohs and ahs as the nebbishy, neurotic science guy in Jurassic Park and Independence Day. He was also Verminous Skumm in Captain Planet. Oh, hes a prolific and varied actor whos been in a ton of things, but lets focus on whats important: aliens, dinosaurs, and whatever Captain Planet was.

Ron Perlman needs no introduction, at least if you have everplayed Fallout (hes Mr. War Never Changes) or watched Hellboy. He also was the voice of Slade in Teen Titans, the Lich in Adventure Time, and Clayface and Orion in the DCAU. He also had a role in some show about motorcycles Im told is pretty good.

Robert Picardo is best known as the Emergency Medical Hologram in (and one of the best parts of) Star Trek: Voyager. He was also Richard Woolsey in Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis, and has made an appearance in nearly every remotely nerdy show and police procedural made in the last 15 years (Chuck, Smallville, Supernatural, Castle, Bones, CSI:NY, Hawaii Five-O, NTSF:SD:SUV, and the list goes on). He was also in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, so his appearance in this game isnt a huge surprise.

Neal McDonough is Dum-Dum Dugan the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and played prominent roles in Band of Brothers, Desperate Housewives, and Suits. He also played the inexplicably Irish M. Bison in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.Heather Graham has been in a ton of stuff (Californication, Scrubs), but her most important role? Annie Blackburn in Twin Peaks.

As for their roles, Picardo plays a liar, McDonough plays a pottymouth, Perlman plays a badass, and Graham plays a burlesque dancer. Its not clear what Goldblum plays, but it will probably involve the words nebbishy and/or arrogant.

"Call Of Duty: Black Ops III" Multiplayer Beta For PS4 Ready To Launch On Aug. 19

PlayStation 4 users have a lot to celebrate as Treyarch Studios has confirmed that PS4 players are the first to get Call of Duty: Black Ops IIIwhen the game"s multiplayer beta version launches.

Treyarch Studios first announced at E3 this year that it is releasing the third installment in the Black Opsseries. In a recent tweet, the studio confirmed that the exact launch date of the game will be Aug. 19 and that it will come first to the PS4.

"We"re excited to announce that the #BlackOps3 Multiplayer Beta will begin on 8/19 starting on PS4. More information coming soon!," saidTreyarch Studios in a tweet.

This means that PlayStation users will be the first to play the game series" new map packs, a special treat that was enjoyed exclusively by Xbox users in the past.

In previous E3 events, Xbox users were always the first in line to get the Call of Dutyinstallments. This year, however, the tables have turned.

There"s no information yet on the reason behind the switch, but PS4 users wouldn"t really care that much anyway.

To gain access to the beta, players should have pre-ordered Black Ops IIIbeforehand. Those who have pre-ordered on PSN prior to the announcement are already eligible to participate in the game"s multiplayer beta launch.

For those who have pre-ordered from a participating store, they should have received a code, which they will use to redeem their order. Lastly, users should expect to get a second code and instructions on accessing the multiplayer beta from Activision in their email at least a few days prior to the launch.

Multiplayer betas are popular not only among developers because of the opportunity they get in learninghow the game"s systems will be compatible with the platform but also among players who get the chance to have a sneak peek into the game, giving them some sort of bragging rights to their gaming peers.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIIis launching fully on Nov. 6. Apart from the PS4, the game is also landing on Xbox One and the PC. There"s also some hints that the multiplayer beta mode could be launching on the Xbox, although the exact date is still unknown.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare raises the stakes with new multiplayer changes ...

The Team Death Match score limit is now 100, something many fans were hoping to see added to online gameplay since launch.

The TDM limit has gone up from75, meaning the average length of each match is set to increase with more games likely to reach the max time limit.

"Time to raise the stakes! We've increased the TDM score limits to 100 in#AdvancedWarfare. Go get 'em," Condrey wrote on Twitter.

One fan replied: "Perfect, now I can get a Deathmatch double DNA bomb."

The news was followed by the announcement that this weekend would see the return of Double XP bonus and an increased chance at grabbing elite gear in supply drops.

The new game bonuses started today and last until Monday 5pm UK time.

Sledgehammer confirmed the news onTwitter, with the event set to be included on allplatforms, helping fans to rank up twice as fast.

A new Call of Duty: Black Ops III trailer was released this week, revealing more on the future setting of the upcoming Treyarch title.

Called the 'Ember tease' it shows humanity progressing ever further with technology as the lines between both become ever-more blurred.

It ends on the cliffhanger that humans are being turned into weapons by the new techniques in the decade of 2060, leading to riots among the public.
