LAS VEGAS The size of a smallball, the360fly camera takes spherical videos that don"t require complicated editing one of the coolest things we saw at the start of the Consumer Electronics Show here.
Many folks are looking to jump in on the immersive experience popularized by Facebook and YouTube, whichhavethriving 360-degree channels for the ultimate in virtual reality:a complete view of the world that can be viewed onlineor via VR eyewear.
The 360fly one-lens camera, which includes a 4K image sensor inside, can attach to a bike or standalone,and is available for $399.99 at Best Buy.
Heres what else is cool at CES:
Youve heard of the smart shirt, smart sock and even the smart bra now get ready for the smart shoe.
Zhor-Tech, a French tech firm,brought big bright red sneakers, white self-lacing shoes and even womens pumps to CES. What makes the shoessmart? You can adjust the temperature of your shoe with an app and measure your stepsmore accurately than you could with a fitness tracker, the company says. The shoes will sell later in the year for $450.

Everywhere you look here, were seeing drones, lots of them, bigger and more elaborate than ever some 100 new drones are expected to be introduced at this weeks CES.Tuesday we attended the Drone Rodeo, a collection of 25 different drone manufacturers in the desert. We loved the Parrot Bebop 2, anaffordable $550 drone that can be operated by a smartphone
Even with new Federal Aviation Administration rules that call for registration, thats not scaring folks away. Plus, drones have gotten easier to use than ever. "In the early days, you had to be a DIYperson to run a drone, but now they"reavailable to a wider audience,"Shan Phillips, CEO of drone manufacturer Yuneec told USA TODAY.

Tristan Evarts graduated high school two years ago and skipped college, with the goal todosomething about distracted driving. He started the Smart Wheel company to sell just that a device that goes over your driving wheel and alerts you when you do something stupid, such astext and grapple with a hamburger wrapper while driving.

"Technology can be part of the problem, and part of the solution," says Evarts, 20. "My dream is to have this technology in every car in America."
