Speaker John Boehners facial expressions, as seen over President Obamas left shoulder during the State of the Union speech, took front and center in a video thats made a splash on YouTube.

Of note on The Best of John Boehners Microexpressions, posted by the Daily Beast, was his repeated lip-licking and his penchant for the understatement.

He only slightly smiled, for instance, after Mr. Obama characterized the state of the union as strong, the video showed. And his scowl during Mr. Obamas tout of foreign policy successes in the Middle East was especially slight.

And on Mr. Obamas most talked-about quips that he has no campaigns to run, that he won both of them? Mr. Boehner barely blinked.
