Kenny Chesney performed "Young" and "Wild Child" at the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) on Sunday night at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The country singer, who sported a sleeveless shirt and a cowboy hat, is nominated for song of the year for "American Kids" against Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, Eric Church and Dierks Bentley. He's up for video of the year for "American Kids" against Bentley, Keith Urban, Glen Campbell and Lambert's duet with Carrie Underwood. He also in competition for single record of the year for "American Kids" against Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, Bentley and Lee Brice.
Church presented the 50th Anniversary Milestone Award to Chesney, a four-time entertainer of the year winner, who said thank you to his fans: "Thank you for loving music and loving life and for giving all of us up here a great life."
The "You and Tequila" singer has won entertainer of the year four times (2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007) in the past 11 years.
Blake Shelton and Bryan co-hosted the awards at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
