Alexander Skarsgard may have done a couple push-ups to get ready to play Tarzan, if the new trailer for "The Legend of Tarzan" is a good indication.
It looks like they may finally make a decent Tarzan film -- not to say Bo Derek traipsing around the jungle n***d for two hours wasn"t cinematic magic to this then 12-year-old.
With gorgeous scenery, lots of action, Skarsgard"s abs, and a cast including Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson, the film looks like it may be a winner. According to Mashable, the story starts 10 years after Tarzan (aka John Clayton, Lord Greystoke) goes back to civilization. He goes back to the Congo on a diplomatic mission and, as you can imagine, ends up with his old ape buddies, swinging through trees.

"You are lord of the apes," Jackson says in the trailer. "King of the jungle! Tarzan! TAR-ZAN!"
d**n right.
"The Legend of Tarzan" hits theaters July 2016.
