3 California lottery tickets earn $1.4M; Did you win?

Three lottery tickets sold in California were just one number shy of winning the huge Powerball prize, but they did match enough numbers to be worth more than $1 million each, lottery officials announced Thursday.

The three tickets, sold in Alameda County, Mono County and Orange County, matched the numbers 11, 13, 25, 39 and 54, but missed the Powerball number 19.

Each of the winners, who have not yet been announced, will take home $1.4 million per ticket.

In addition to those million-dollar tickets, more than 677,000 tickets sold in California won prizes of varying amounts in the drawing.

In California, all winners much claim their prize within 180 days of the drawing, with the exception of a Powerball winner who has one year from the date of the drawing to claim the jackpot.
